This is a Hindi translation of Panchatantra, originally written in Sanskrit. Panchatantra, meaning "Five Principles" in Sanskrit, is an ancient Indian collection of educational stories. It is an inter-related collection of animal fables in verse and prose, in a frame story format. The orginal work in Sanskrit was composed in the 3rd century BCE by Vishnu Sharma.
