Born and raised in Dunedin, Ashley started a career in hotels. She was quickly bumped up to management level, and enjoyed six years working for Scenic Hotel Group in Franz Josef and the Bay of Islands. Managing employees and meeting customers from many different countries triggered Ashley's adventurous side and led her to travelling the world.
