This draws 40000 stars with fairly realistic brightness simulation, and lets you rotate and zoom. It's not a useful astronomy program-nothing is labeled, there are no planets or deep-space objects, and the horizon is not shown-but it can be relaxing to zoom among the stars and try to identify constellations.
