ActivityAssistant can monitor and register physical activity based on GPS data. It can detect and count trace laps in real time. LAP occurs when you return to a place already visited in this session or come near this place. On the settings screen you can choose the accuracy of the lap detection. As users progress through the next lap its data is shown on the screen.
