Al-Masry Media Corporation is an Egyptian independent media institution founded in 2003. Chaired by Kamel Tawfik Diab, its board includes a number of prominent Egyptian businessmen. The institution issues Al-Masry Al-Youm, an independent daily newspaper that was launched on 6 July 2004 to become today the first independent newspaper in terms of distribution.
