On Android 8. 0 or above, the app may not works due to "Background execution limits" duced in Oreo to improve battery life. To overcome this, follow below steps: goto the "App info" screen. then select "Battery > Battery optimization". set filter "All apps". locate and select Battery Widget. select "Don't optimize", then "DONE".
