This is no longer required on Android 7. 0. Instead add Japanese to your language list in Settings > Languages & input > Languages to show the correct Kanji across all apps. Android renders Chinese glyphs by default when the system language is set to anything but Japanese. Kanji Fix changes the order of system fonts in Android 4.
